Unità HD DVD-ROM Alcuni modelli sono equipaggiati con un modulo

HD DVD-ROM a formato intero che consente di

riprodurre CD e DVD senza utilizzare un

adattatore. La velocità massima di lettura

dell’unità è di 8x per i DVD-ROM, 24x per i

CD-ROM e 1x per gli HD DVD, mentre la velocità

massima di scrittura è di 16x per i CD-R, 10x per

i CD-RW, 4x per i DVD-R eDVD+R, 4x per i

DVD-RW e DVD+RW, 2x per i DVD-R (Dual

Layer), 2,4x per i DVD+R (Double Layer) e

3x per i DVD-RAM. Sono supportati i formati
