Initial Access to the Network Camera (Cont.)

NOTE

By default, the Network Camera is not password-protected. To prevent unauthorized ●

accesses, it is highly recommended to set a password for the Network Camera.

For more information about how to enable password protection, please refer to Security

Settings on page 30.

If you see a warning message at initial access, click Install to install an ActiveX ●

control

on your computer.

If you see a dialog box indicating that your security settings prohibit running ActiveX ●

controls, please enable your ActiveX

controls for your browser.

1. Choose Tools > Internet Options > Security > Custom Level.

2. Look for Download signed ActiveX

controls; select Enable or Prompt. Click OK.
